Clarence is a civil and human rights attorney working at the intersection of race, technology, and the law. He currently serves as National Director of Civil Rights and Technology at TechTonic Justice. Clarence is a co-founder of the NOTICE Coalition: No Tech Criminalization in Education, a national advocacy network fighting to end youth surveillance and defend youth justice in the digital age. Across his work, Clarence develops community-centered legal and policy strategies to challenge emerging technologies that disrupt access to basic human needs such as education, healthcare, and housing for marginalized communities.
